“Pat Murphy showed that he will protect the middle class while Rod Blum played defense for his old newspaper columns advocating for privatizing Social Security and his history of taking a huge bonus after downsizing his company and laying off Iowans. Rod Blum made it clear that he is for millionaires like himself while Pat Murphy showed that he will advocate first and foremost for Iowa’s middle class, by pushing to raise the minimum wage and ensure paycheck fairness for Iowa’s women.”
