The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee today released a new television ad in Florida’s Second Congressional District, “Flight Time.”
The spot highlights how Congressman Steve Southerland has lost touch with the North Floridians he’s supposed to be working for – voting to increase taxes on North Florida’s middle class families in order to give tax breaks to corporations and the wealthy. It’s just another example proving how Congressman Southerland’s Washington Way represents everything North Floridians hate about Congress.
The ad begins running in the Panama City media market starting today.
Script of DCCC IE Ad “Flight Time”:
Now boarding for Washington D.C.
It only takes two hours to fly from Bay County to Washington, but it’s plenty of time for Congressman Steve Southerland to forget who he works for.
In Congress Southerland voted for tax breaks for corporations and the wealthy, and handed the middle class the bill.
A $200,000 tax break for them, forcing a $3,000 tax increase on Florida’s middle class.
Steve Southerland. He’s not on your side.
