New York’s 22nd (NY - 22)

Updated: October 30, 2016

Narrative

Claudia Tenney has the wrong priorities – not showing up for work in the State Assembly, and when she does show up to vote, opposing what’s right for our community. Martin Babinec promises to join the Republicans in Congress who want to dramatically cut investments in education and end the Medicare guarantee.

Proof Points

Democrats should read that Martin Babinec promises to join the Republicans in Congress who want to dramatically cut investments in education and end the Medicare guarantee. (BACKUP)

Tenney missed hundreds of votes in the New York State Assembly in 2014 alone, good enough for the third worst attendance record out of 150 members, but she still took almost $100,000 – her full tax-payer funded salary and reimbursements for that year. (BACKUP)

Tenney would be another vote for Republicans in Congress and their economic agenda that provides tax breaks to the wealthy and big corporations and Tenney pledged to protect special tax breaks for companies that ship jobs overseas instead of doing more to reward companies that bring jobs back to the US. (BACKUP)

Martin Babinec has repeatedly promised to join the Republicans in Congress if elected. (BACKUP)
