Two years ago, Zach Nunn applauded the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade and take away a woman’s right to have an abortion.
Thanks to this ruling, Iowa passed one of the most restrictive abortion bans in the country – a ban Nunn laid the groundwork for by voting for a previous version of the bill. With the Iowa Supreme Court expected to rule on the ban this week, Iowa women could be days away from having their rights ripped away because of anti-choice politicians like Zach Nunn.
But Nunn isn’t stopping there. He supported banning abortion nationwide with no exceptions for rape, incest, or the woman’s life, and he’s making it his mission in Washington – from trying to block reproductive health care access for members of the armed services, to targeting doctors who perform abortions, to electing a Speaker who wants to “get the number of abortions to ZERO.”
