Rod Blum’s Priorities: Play 2016 Kingmaker, Ignore Middle Class Iowans

Desperate to play 2016 Republican kingmaker, Congressman Rod Blum just complained about Republican candidate Mitt Romney not spending enough time courting him after he has done campaign events with fringe figure Rand Paul and bragged about spending time with embattled Governor Rick Perry. Blum complained to  The Hill “…Romney is one of the few candidates he hasn’t heard from.”

“It sure didn’t take long for Congressman Rod Blum to put his political priorities ahead of working for Iowans,” said Tyrone Gayle of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. “Congressman Blum’s whining wreaks of desperation and shows that Blum is far more interested in playing 2016 kingmaker than actually helping middle class Iowa families.”
