In response to the National Republican Congressional Committee endorsing Greg Gianforte’s demonstrably false statement and further attacks on a free and open press, DCCC Spokesman Tyler Law issued the following statement:
“In a chilling sign of the NRCC’s antipathy for a free and open press, they have officially endorsed Greg Gianforte’s victim-blaming after his alleged assault of a journalist. Again, the NRCC and Speaker Ryan must immediately denounce their violent candidate and apologize for the millions of dollars they have spent on his behalf.”
