“Bob Dold showed today that he is the same old reliable Republican who was fired by the voters in 2012 after he voted with his party to defund Planned Parenthood, allow oil drilling in Lake Michigan, and voted for a budget that raises Medicare costs on Illinois seniors while giving tax breaks to oil companies. Brad Schneider made a clear case that he will break through the gridlock in Washington and that he will defend the middle class by protecting Medicare and pushing to raise the minimum wage.”
