DCCC Chairman Ben Ray Luján today announced the addition of Suzanna Shkreli (MI08) to the Red to Blue program.

“Suzanna Shkreli is already well-known in her community for her work putting away child abusers and fighting for working families as a successful Macomb County prosecutor,” said Chairman Ben Ray Luján. “To add even more distinction, she would have the honor of being the first Albanian-American woman elected to Congress. Suzanna’s top-notch campaign has earned her a spot on our Red to Blue program, and I am confident she is prepared to tackle the tough fights to help the middle class.”

This Red to Blue designation indicates that Shkreli will run a top-notch campaign through election day, putting her in an excellent position to join the Democratic caucus. Beyond promising campaign strength, Shkreli has proven she will put country before politics and stand up for hardworking families.

Congresswoman Cheri Bustos (IL-17) and Congressman Denny Heck (WA-10) are co-chairs of the Red to Blue program. There are now 51 candidates in the Red to Blue or Emerging Races programs.
