| Cook Political Report shifted California’s 13th Congressional District towards Democrats — the latest proof that Adam Gray is a proven overperformer who wins because he delivers results for the Central Valley.
Cook writes in part:
“Gray’s ability to overperform [the top of the ticket] by several points — particularly in his base of Merced — should give him the edge in 2026…”
And in a district that is majority Hispanic, Cook notes that “signs of reversion among Latino Trump voters…make [Republicans’] task tougher.”
This shift reflects what Valley voters already know. Adam Gray is a proven problem-solver who works to deliver bipartisan results – from fighting to secure water projects and standing up for farmers, to investing in infrastructure, and protecting rural health care.
Meanwhile, the NRCC’s hand-picked loser Kevin Lincoln is best known for skyrocketing housing and utility costs, rampant crime, and shady dealings – including taxpayer-funded perks for himself and taking money from the California GOP.
Worse, Lincoln has been SILENT on Republicans’ disastrous agenda to gut health care for more than 62,000 people in CA-13, threaten rural hospitals and patient access throughout the San Joaquin Valley, drive premiums even higher and make life more expensive for working families.
