| Non-partisan race rater Cook Political Report just shifted Florida’s 13th Congressional District in Democrats’ direction, the latest sign Floridians are tired of being left behind by Anna Paulina Luna’s record of self-service and broken promises.
Cook writes in part that “Anna Paulina Luna has a polarizing reputation in D.C.,” noting that while Luna “won reelection by nine points in 2024, and Trump carried the district by 13…Democrats have a better shot this cycle due to the favorable political environment…”
“…This is clearly a competitive race, so we’re shifting it from Likely to Lean Republican.”
The ratings change is the third for Brigadier General (Ret.) Leela Gray in the last week, and comes on the heels of polling showing Gray with a 5 point lead in the race, winning unaffiliated voters by 17 points, one in four Republicans and 9% of 2024 Trump voters.
