🚨 RATINGS CHANGE: Crystal Ball Shifts ME-02 in Democrats’ Direction

Nonpartisan race rater Larry Sabato’s Crystal Ball just moved Maine’s 2nd District in Democrats’ direction to ‘Leans Republican,’ the latest sign that extremist Paul LePage is in trouble after decades fighting against Mainers’ interests.

Crystal Ball writes that after shifting the seat to the right earlier this year, they are reversing course due to the fact they were “too bearish on Democrats’ chances to hold the seat.” The report points to several polls from the summer showing the race tied, as well as a more recent independent poll from last week showing Matt Dunlap leading Paul LePage by six points.

LePage has made it crystal clear that he’ll put billionaires ahead of hardworking Maine families in Washington. When he isn’t spreading lies about Medicaid expansion or abandoning Mainers to run off to Florida, he’s pledging total loyalty to reckless tariffs that are jacking up costs on Maine families and health care cuts that are putting rural hospitals at risk.
