🚨 RATINGS CHANGE: Inside Elections Shifts MI-04 Towards Democrats

Non-partisan race rater shifts Huizenga’s seat to “Lean Republican”
Inside Elections just shifted Michigan’s 4th Congressional District in Democrats’ direction.

This ratings change follows a new poll showing “a statistical dead heat” in MI-04, as Bill Huizenga’s approval is twelve points underwater and he’s running neck-and-neck with Democrats in the race.

Cook Political previously wrote that MI-04 “could host a competitive race next year” as Republicans’ margins continue to shrink as “West Michigan has been a bright spot for Democrats.”

REMINDER: Governor Gretchen Whitmer carried MI-04 with more than 50% of the vote in 2022.
