🚨 RATINGS CHANGE: Third Non-Partisan Race Rater Shifts MT-01 in Democrats’ Direction

Today, Inside Elections shifted their rating for Montana’s 1st Congressional District towards Democrats — the latest sign that Montana voters are ready to send Sam Forstag to Congress.

Inside Elections writes in part that “Private polling from both sides of the aisle shows a very close race between talk radio host Aaron Flint, the GOP nominee, and smokejumper Sam Forstag, the Democratic nominee.”

REMINDER: Inside Elections is the third non-partisan race rater to shift their rating of MT-01 in Democrats’ direction in the past month. The ratings changes also come on the heels of independent polling that shows Forstag locked in a dead heat with Flint as voters reject Republicans’ reckless agenda.

DCCC Spokesperson Lindsay Reilly:
“Smokejumper and union leader Sam Forstag knows what it means to put working people first. Aaron Flint can’t say the same. While Flint continues to cozy up with his D.C. party bosses and praise their reckless agenda that’s raising costs for Montanans, Forstag is fighting to give Montana families a voice.”
