| New polling first reported by the National Journal shows that Tennessee’s 5th Congressional District is fully in play and that Mayor Chaz Molder has a clear path to victory in November.
The poll shows that when Tennesseans learn about both candidates, Molder is within striking distance of Charlie Hatcher in a district that would have voted for Trump by 23 points in 2024.
National Journal also reports that Molder is heavily outraising Hatcher, meaning that he will have the resources needed to communicate with voters and close the gap heading into November.
