The warning signs are flashing for Anna Paulina Luna as new polling shows Brigadier General (Ret.) Leela Gray with a 5 point lead in the first general election head-to-head matchup of Florida’s 13th Congressional District.
The poll highlights Gray’s inherent strengths, as she’s winning unaffiliated voters by 17 points and winning over one in four Republicans.
And, as Donald Trump’s job approval is underwater in FL-13 by 14 points – a full 9% of 2024 Trump voters backed Gray.
DCCC Spokesperson Anna Elsasser:
“Tampa voters are sick and tired of Anna Paulina Luna putting herself and her donors first. Brigadier General (Ret.) Leela Gray has proven she will be a fighter focused on the issues that matter most to voters: lowering costs, protecting health care, and cracking down on the corruption ripping working families off. Momentum is on her side, as voters in Pinellas and Pasco counties are ready to elect a leader who will put service over self and flip this seat in November.”
