Today, Inside Elections announced that it is shifting its predictions for Nebraska’s 2nd Congressional District from Toss-Up to Tilt Democratic.
This announcement follows the Republican candidates in Nebraska shedding any illusions that they would campaign as moderates, choosing instead tocozy up to Trump and his unpopular, failing agenda.
DCCC Spokesperson Madison Andrus: “Nebraska’s 2nd Congressional District is a top pick-up opportunity for Democrats, and we’re not taking anything for granted. While Brett Lindstrom and Brinker Harding spend their days thinking of new ways to curry Trump’s favor, Democrats are fighting tooth and nail to ensure that Nebraskans will have real representation that won’t sell them out for partisan politics.”
