| Today, non-partisan race rater Cook Political Report shifted its prediction for Colorado’s 5th Congressional District towards Democrats — the latest sign that Coloradans are tired of being left behind by Jeff Crank.
Cook writes in part that “Population growth in Colorado Springs has turned the once reliably Republican 5th District into fertile ground for Democrats,” adding that “Democratic nominee Jessica Killin’s heavy fundraising has put this seat in play, forcing freshman GOP Rep. Jeff Crank on defense.”
REMINDER: This is the third nonpartisan race rater to shift CO-05 towards Democrats just this month, as polling and fundraising put Jessica Killin within striking distance of Crank.
