Non-partisan race rater Cook Political Report just shifted Kentucky’s 6th Congressional District in Zach Dembo’s direction – the latest sign of surging momentum behind his campaign against weak and corrupt candidate Ralph Alvarado.
Cook notes in part: “Bevin picked Alvarado as his running mate, and Democrats are now airing ads accusing Alvarado of being complicit when Bevin pardoned hundreds of criminals on his way out of office. Bevin’s successor, Democratic Gov. Andy Beshear, has performed quite well in this Lexington-based district, winning it by 20 points in 2023.”
The rating shift is the latest data point showing Dembo on the march against Alvarado. Multiple public polls show Dembo pulling ahead, and non-partisan race raters continue shifting their predictions for KY-06 in his direction.
