| Today, nonpartisan race rater Inside Elections shifted its rating for Nevada’s 2nd Congressional District in Democrats’ favor – the latest sign that Nevadans are ready for change.
The ratings change comes as no surprise as two-time loser David Flippo finds himself embroiled in scandals and has failed to secure the endorsement of the Republican incumbent, who called Flippo “arrogant and incredibly, incredibly disrespectful.”
Inside Elections notes “the combination of a favorable political environment and unique candidate dynamics” are putting NV-02 squarely in play for Democrats.
DCCC Spokesperson Lindsay Reilly:
“David Flippo isn’t fit to serve Nevada families. Nevadans are continuing to sour on Republicans’ reckless agenda of raising costs and gutting health care, and it will cost them the election.” |
