| Today, nonpartisan race rater Sabato’s Crystal Ball shifted their rating for Nevada’s 2nd Congressional District in Democrats’ favor — the latest sign that Nevadans are ready to flip the district blue.
Crystal Ball writes that “retiring Rep. Mark Amodei (R, NV-2) has little good to say about veteran David Flippo,” noting that “Flippo has a credentialed challenger.”
The ratings change comes on the heels of new polling that puts Democrats “within striking distance” of two-time loser and Southern Nevada native David Flippo, who has spent his campaign embroiled in scandals rather than fighting for Nevadans.
DCCC Spokesperson Lindsay Reilly:
“The writing is on the wall for David Flippo. Nevadans aren’t interested in another scandal-plagued Republican who’s more focused on cheating their way to the top than standing up for Nevada families. This November, NV-02 is ready to send a Democrat to Washington.” |
