| Today, non-partisan race rater Sabato’s Crystal Ball shifted their prediction for Wisconsin’s 1st Congressional District away from Bryan Steil — the latest sign that momentum is on Mitchell Berman’s side.
Crystal Ball writes in part, “Democrats have released polling showing their nominee, nurse Mitchell Berman, basically tied with Steil. Ultimately…the environment suggests this should be in a more competitive category.”
The ratings change comes just weeks after Cook Political Report also shifted their prediction for WI-01 in Democrats’ direction, and follows Supreme Court Justice Chris Taylor carrying the district by 15 points earlier this year.
REMINDER: Republicans have spent more than $4 million so far in this race, and it’s done little for Steil as multiple polls have found a tied race.
