| In response to news that Eric Conroy was added to the NRCC’s “MAGA Majority,” DCCC spokesperson Riya Vashi released the following statement:
“Eric Conroy is a MAGA extremist, wealthy phony, and carpetbagger who’s wildly out of touch with Ohio’s First Congressional District. The NRCC’s stamp of approval just confirms Conroy will put party bosses and Donald Trump ahead of Southwest Ohio. Instead of standing up for working families, Conroy is signing up to be a rubber stamp for the same extreme agenda that’s raising costs, threatening health care, and putting billionaires first. Southwest Ohioans see Conroy for the fraud that he is and will reject him this November.”
REMINDER: Just last week, Conroy was exposed for telling voters that he “wasn’t born into privilege or connections” and doesn’t “have a lot of money” when his own federal financial disclosures reveal he’s sitting on up to nearly a million dollars and a super PAC funded by his own father. |
