🚨Cleveland Plain Dealer Endorses Brian Poindexter in Ohio’s 7th District

The Cleveland Plain Dealer Editorial Board is endorsing union ironworker Brian Poindexter as he continues to build momentum to flip Ohio’s 7th Congressional District blue.

The Editorial Board highlights how Brian “would bring a fresh perspective as a voice for the vast numbers of blue-collar workers who rarely land one of their own in the halls of Congress.”

They note that Brian “draws a bright line between himself and Miller, who was unresponsive to our endorsement interview invitation. He contrasts their backgrounds (Miller is the wealthy grandson of the late Forest City magnate Sam Miller), their positions on the Iran war and blanket tariffs (Poindexter opposes both), and even reactions to their attack ads.”

The Editorial Board notes that Miller “exhibit[s] a troubling lack of judgment, self-control and maturity” and concludes that voters “should give Max Miller a chance to get his life together without political distractions — and give Brian Poindexter the opportunity to take his workingman perspective to Congress.”

THE BOTTOM LINE: Brian knows exactly what working people in OH-07 are going through because he’s living it. Unlike nepo baby and trust fund kid Max Miller, Brian will give workers a seat at the table in Washington and actually fight to lower their costs.
