During a recent appearance on CNN, vulnerable Republican Mike Lawler misleadingly claimed he doesn’t support tariffs – a remarkable statement given he is on the record voting to protect Donald Trump’s cost-spiking tariffs multiple times.

As Lawler twisted himself into knots trying to explain away his record, a reporter summed it up best, dubbing him “Congressman coward.”
Lawler and Trump’s reckless tariffs cost the average American household $1,700 last year. 

REMINDER: Lawler has repeatedly rubber-stamped Trump’s price-hiking tariffs, voting twice just last week to protect them. He did the same in March of last year and again in September, doubling down on policies that raise costs for working families.
