🚨NEW DATA: 120,000 Ohioans Drop ACA Coverage Thanks to Mike Turner

Turner refused to extend tax credits that lower health care costs

More than 120,000 fewer Ohioans signed up for Affordable Care Act coverage this year after vulnerable Republican Mike Turner and his colleagues failed to extend crucial tax credits that lower premiums, new federal data shows.

Earlier this month, Turner REFUSED to join a bipartisan push to extend the credits and save Ohioans thousands of dollars a year. KFF estimates that a 60-year-old couple in Turner’s district could be paying 297% MORE for the same health care plan in 2026 compared to last year without the ACA tax credits.

Turner has spent the past year gutting Ohioans’ health care to pay for tax breaks for billionaires. His disastrous record includes:

DCCC Spokesperson Riya Vashi:
“Mike Turner has no problem raising Ohioans’ health care costs if that means big corporations and special interests get a tax break. Voters will remember Turner’s betrayal at the ballot box this year.”
