| Recent reporting reveals Nick Begich accepted campaign donations from a top GOP aide arrested on federal charges of child sex crimes.
Craig Scott Valdez, the former chair of the Anchorage Young Republicans, was charged in federal court with sex trafficking and sexual exploitation of minors, reportedly luring underage girls to his home via Snapchat.
According to FEC donation records, Valdez contributed to Begich, other Republican officials, and the Alaska Republican Party, “linking him financially to prominent Republican figures and party infrastructure.”
Yet, Begich has remained SILENT nearly a week later. He has not addressed the donation, nor announced plans to return or redirect the funds.
