| Yesterday, nonpartisan race rater Inside Elections updated its rating for Texas’ 15th District towards Tejano music star Bobby Pulido, the latest warning sign that Texans are ready to oust Monica De La Cruz and her string of broken promises.
According to the analysis, “Republicans are having trouble matching their previous performances up and down the ballot. This district was drawn to re-elect De La Cruz, but Democrat Bobby Pulido is running at least even with the congresswoman, even after Republicans have thrown plenty of attacks at him.”
The ratings change comes on the heels of Cook Political Report’s own shift, also calling the race a toss-up.
