| Non-partisan race rater Sabato’s Crystal Ball just shifted South Carolina’s First District in Democrats’ direction.Â
Crystal Ball notes that the district “hosted one of 2018’s biggest Democratic upsets” and Navy veteran and retired Real Admiral Nancy Lacore “has fundraised well” as momentum is behind Democrats in this race.
This ratings change comes following Cook Political Report shifting the race towards Democrats, writing in part that “the combination of an open seat and…well-funded [Democratic candidates] means the GOP can’t take the race for granted.”
