It has been 100 days since the Republican-appointed Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, effectively ending 50 years of reproductive freedom as we knew it. Since then, countless horror stories have surfaced: a 10-year-old rape victim forced to flee her state to get health care, women who experience miscarriages and people with auto-immune diseases unable to access vital medication, women told they’d have to give birth to a non-viable fetus, and more.
Despite the cruel stories and the widespread backlash at the ballot box, Nevada Republicans are continuing their efforts to rip away Nevadans’ reproductive rights.

Mark Robertson praised Texas’ six-week abortion ban with no exceptions for rape and incest that puts a bounty on anyone who helps a woman get an abortion. He is also endorsed by National Right to Life which wants to ban abortion without exceptions for rape or incest;
-
April Becker is backed by the extremist anti-abortion group National Right to Life which wants to ban abortion without exceptions for rape or incest;
-
Sam Peters has pledged that if he gets to Congress, he will introduce legislation that allows the government to force a woman to continue her pregnancy if she has been raped, and could send her doctor to prison if she receives an abortion.
DCCC spokesperson Johanna Warshaw:
“Millions of women have gone 100 days without the freedom they once had. Meanwhile, Republicans like Mark Robertson, April Becker, and Sam Peters want to allow politicians to ban abortion nationwide. Voters will reject Nevada GOP candidates in November because they want their freedoms restored, not taken away by extreme Republicans.”
