20 House Republicans (So Far) Flee For the Exits

Why?

Republicans know they are going to lose the majority in 2026. 

• Donald Trump is the least popular president in modern American history.
• His approval on handling inflation to lower costs is deeply underwater.
• Trump and House Republicans promised to lower the cost of living on day one, but have failed entirely, with the cost of living going up and groceries skyrocketing.
• The Republican backed Big, Ugly Law is the least popular piece of legislation signed into law in the 21st century.
• The American people – including a majority of self-identified MAGA Republicans – want Congress to extend the Affordable Care Act tax credits, but Republicans refuse.
• Republicans are getting the blame for shutting down the government.
