4 Questions for Kate Gibbs

Failed Freeholder Launches in NJ-03 As Republican Primary Heats Up

Newly announced candidate and failed politician Kate Gibbs hasn’t been transparent about where she stands on critical issues facing New Jersey families.

Gibbs, who launched her campaign today, joins Barnegat Township Deputy Mayor John Novak in a Republican primary that is clearly heating up.

While Novak has been clear about where he stands on the issues, Gibbs, who has toyed with the idea of running for months and has had ample time to figure out her stances, has remained silent.

Here are four questions Kate Gibbs needs to answer right away:

  1. Does Kate Gibbs agree with House Republicans’ continued efforts to repeal the Affordable Care Act and gut protections for people with pre-existing conditions?
  2. Does Gibbs support Washington Republicans’ 2017 legislation that caps the state and local tax deductions?
  3. Does Kate Gibbs share John Novak’s opposition to abortion access and reproductive health care?
  4. Will Gibbs accept campaign donations from corporate PACs?

“If Kate Gibbs, who was already rejected by Burlington County voters last year, is serious about running for Congress, she must be transparent about where she stands on the issues that matter most to New Jersey families,” said DCCC Spokesperson Christine Bennett. “Voters in Burlington and Ocean Counties deserve to know if Kate Gibbs stands with them or with corporate special interests.”
