Matt Mowers is going to spend a lot of time on the debate stage tonight avoiding the issues he knows hurt his election chances. Unfortunately for him, we have the receipts. Mowers has spent his career catering to President Trump and his corporate clients, so it’s no wonder his campaign is funded by out of state special interests. After all, it’s not like Mowers has any connection to the state whatsoever.
Here’s what Matt Mowers doesn’t want you to know:
- Matt Mowers works for drug manufacturers, but tried to hide it from Granite Staters: As a consultant, Mowers worked for drug manufacturers that, among other things, jacked up the price of life-saving EpiPens by 400% and manufactured opioids. We’d love to tell you more about Mowers’ consultant clients, but Mowers submitted an illegible handwritten Personal Financial Disclosure form to keep that information from voters.
- Matt Mowers thinks the Affordable Care Act is “terrible:” Mowers’ health care agenda is too extreme for New Hampshire. He’s called the Affordable Care Act “terrible” and came out against expanded Medicaid that provides 50,000 Granite Staters with the coverage they need and is New Hampshire’s best tool in fighting the opioid crisis.
- Matt Mowers is funded by out of state interests: Carpetbagger Matt Mowers has no connections to New Hampshire and even fewer donors. As the New Jersey Globe reported, Mowers received a huge amount of donations from his home state of New Jersey. And he’s getting additional help from his former Bridgegate boss Chris Christie. This begs the question, if Mowers is funded by out of state interests, not Granite Staters, who is he really running to represent in Congress?
- Matt Mowers continues to stand with Trump on COVID-19: Over 220,000 Americans have died from COVID-19 and President Trump has failed our country with his reckless behavior and failure to treat this pandemic seriously. But despite Trump’s failures and the continued threat of COVID-19, Mowers is still a proud supporter of the president.
