Vulnerable New York Republicans immediately turned their backs on New Yorkers to advance GOP’s radical anti-choice agenda
As Sunday marks 50 years since the Supreme Court granted women the right to reproductive freedom and abortion healthcare with Roe v. Wade, New Yorkers are reminded that their decades of freedoms are at risk thanks to the GOP’s cruel and radical anti-choice agenda.
Vulnerable New York Republicans Nick LaLota, George Santos, Anthony D’Esposito, Mike Lawler, Marc Molinaro, and Brandon Williams all share the blame.
Despite spending months on the campaign trail trying to downplay to New Yorkers the threat that their party and that they themselves presented to New Yorkers’ abortion rights, these Republicans have already:
Voted against consideration of the Women’s Health Protection Act which would have codified the reproductive freedoms Roe v. Wade guaranteed before the Supreme Court ripped them away.
Clearly Santos is not the only liar in this group of anti-choice extremists. Each of these men deceived New Yorkers about their plans to restrict women’s reproductive freedoms in exchange for power.
