51 Years After Landmark Roe v. Wade Decision, Russell Prescott, Hollie Noveletsky, and Chris Bright’s GOP Party Bosses Relentlessly Pursue National Abortion Ban
Today marks the 51st anniversary of the landmark Roe v. Wade decision, guaranteeing a woman’s right to reproductive freedom. Ever since then, Russell Prescott, Hollie Noveletsky, and Chris Bright’s GOP party bosses have attempted to roll back these rights, clinging to their dangerous, delusional belief that their attacks on women’s reproductive freedoms are popular.
As a State Senator, Russell Prescott touted his anti-choice record that favored government intervention over women’s personal choice when it comes to private, reproductive care. Hollie Noveletsky and Chris Bright also support the Supreme Court’s decision to take away women’s reproductive freedoms.
Now, Prescott, Noveletsky, and Bright have been handpicked by MAGA extremists to try to be another loyal vote for restricting a woman’s right to choose.
New polling recently found that abortion rights have historic levels of support with voters, including 66% of voters who oppose ongoing Republican efforts to pass a national abortion ban. In New Hampshire, an overwhelming 87% of voters support reproductive freedom.
REMINDER: The Chair of the NRCC encouraged GOP House candidates running in swing districts – like Russell Prescott, Hollie Noveletsky, and Chris Bright – to brag about their extreme anti-abortion positions on the campaign trail: “Republicans don’t have a policy problem. We have a branding problem.”
DCCC Spokesperson Ellie Dougherty:
“Russell Prescott, Hollie Noveletsky, and Chris Bright would all give in to MAGA extremists to pass a nationwide abortion ban. Granite Staters will reject Prescott, Noveletsky, and Bright’s Republican Party’s extremism at the ballot box.”
