Today, the DCCC launched its third TV ad of the general election in Minnesota’s 2nd Congressional District. The ad sets the record straight on Rep. Jason Lewis’s votes to raise healthcare costs and gut protections for Minnesotans with pre-existing conditions like asthma, cancer and diabetes while taking nearly a million dollars in special interest cash in his first term.
“Rep. Jason Lewis is all Washington now,” said DCCC spokesperson Rachel Irwin. “Lewis sold out his constituents when he voted to raise their healthcare costs, gut protections for those with asthma, cancer and diabetes, and allow insurance companies to charge older Americans more. He clearly can’t be trusted to fight for Minnesotans when he’s taking special interest cash and voting their way in D.C.”
