Fitzpatrick, Mackenzie, Bresnahan, and Perry all let Pennsylvanians’ health care costs skyrocket
Pennsylvanians are being priced out of their health insurance thanks to House Republicans including Brian Fitzpatrick, Ryan Mackenzie, Rob Bresnahan, and Scott Perry.
Pennie reports that 85,000 Pennsylvanians – or 1 in every 5 enrollees – have dropped their health care coverage as prices skyrocket due to Republicans failure to extend the ACA tax credits.
REMINDER: House Republicans’ so-called ‘Big Beautiful Bill’ did not include an extension of the ACA tax credits, but it did include massive tax cuts for billionaires. Any single one of Pennsylvania’s Republican Congressmen could have blocked that bill and advocated for the inclusion of the ACA tax credits – but they didn’t.
DCCC Spokesperson Eli Cousin: “No amount of empty statements or meaningless letters can change the fact that Brian Fitzpatrick, Ryan Mackenzie, Rob Bresnahan, and Scott Perry have unleashed a health care crisis on Pennsylvanians. They are all on the record voting for higher costs and reduced access to care.”
