ACA PREMIUMS UP 58% THANKS TO NICK BEGICH

Sticker shock hits Alaska families after Republicans failed to extend the ACA tax credits

After Nick Begich voted against extending the ACA tax credits, hardworking Alaskans are dropping coverage and facing skyrocketing health insurance premiums.

Thanks to Begich’s actions, ACA premiums increased 58% on average, forcing families across the country to shoulder the burden of extra costs or drop their coverage altogether.

REMINDER: Begich also cast the deciding vote to gut Medicaid, and has repeatedly voted to raise costs on everyday families – forcing Alaskans to choose between groceriesgas, and health care.

DCCC Spokesperson Anna Elsasser:
“Nick Begich cares more about pleasing his party in Washington than standing up for Alaska families. Make no mistake: Begich is to blame for rising health care costs, and it will cost him his seat in November.”
