Adam Gray Puts the Valley Over Politics in Show of Bipartisanship

Last week, Congressman Adam Gray showed once again how he puts the Valley over partisan politics by inviting Madera County Supervisor Jordan Wamhoff, a Republican and Fresno law enforcement officer, as his guest to the State of the Union.

“Supervisor Wamhoff and I both answer to the same families across the Valley. They expect safe communities, economic opportunity, and a better quality of life. We need leaders who will work together to deliver it…I was sent to Congress to produce results, and that means commonsense leadership focused on the everyday challenges people face.” – Rep. Adam Gray

Supervisor Wamhoff echoed that sentiment, posting: “Working hard for Madera County transcends political parties…In a partisan world, it’s an honor that my Democrat Congressman Adam Gray, chose me, a Republican, to be his guest.”

The Fresno Bee reports the move was “not uncharacteristic for Gray” who “often looks for bipartisanship when introducing legislation.”

DCCC Spokesperson Anna Elsasser
“Adam Gray understands that Valley families don’t care about partisan fights in Washington – they care about safer communities, lower costs, and leaders who come together to deliver results. Gray continues to show exactly the kind of commonsense, bipartisan leadership the Valley expects from its representative.”
