Last week, longtime Brownback advisor and GOP candidate Amanda Adkins finally shared her plan if elected, endorsing a disastrous budget proposed by Republicans in Congress earlier this year.
Despite recent attempts to “mask” her extreme anti-choice position, Adkins just can’t hide her true colors. She told KCUR she would “absolutely” support the Republican Study Committee budget, which includes 23 anti-abortion policies, including the same total ban without exceptions for rape or incest that Adkins pushed while chair of the Kansas GOP.
Adkins’ New “Plan” Step Two: Ban Abortion Without Exception

The Adkins-endorsed plan includes a federal ban on abortion well before most women know they’re pregnant – typically around 5-7 weeks.

It also includes a “human life amendment,” typically seen as one of the strictest bans on abortion, without exceptions for rape or incest—and the same policy Adkins’ included in her platform as Chair of Kansas GOP.
Said Adkins on the backwards plan: “I absolutely support that. I would be a member of the Republican Study Committee.”
