WASHINGTON, D.C. – Rather than meet his constituents face-to-face, Congressman Rob Bresnahan will sit behind his desk in Washington D.C. and hold a telephone town hall tonight, Tuesday June 10, at 6:30 p.m.
While the Congressman hides behind a screen while his staff controls questions, it doesn’t change the fact that his constituents deserve answers after Bresnahan lied about his pledge to ban congressional stock trading and cast a deciding vote to gut Medicaid.
Here are a few questions Congressman Bresnahan has yet to answer:
- Why did you lie to NEPA voters when you campaigned on a pledge to ban congressional stock trading, only to turn around and make more than 500 trades since coming to Congress?
- After you were caught breaking your promise to ban congressional stock trading, you responded by pledging to put your assets in a blind trust. Why lie again and still not set up that blind trust?
- Why should NEPA voters trust you when you are enriching yourself in the stock market, all while voting in Congress to gut Medicaid so that you can give tax cuts to billionaires?
