Affordable Care Act Enrollment in California is Up – Will Vulnerable CA Republicans Oppose Trump’s Plan to Repeal It?

Donald Trump and House Republicans are hellbent on repealing the Affordable Care Act. New data released today shows 1,736,391 total individuals are now enrolled in Affordable Care Act coverage in California.

House Republicans have already promised to blindly follow puppet master Trump in his efforts to strip essential health care programs from a record-breaking 20 million Americans. Repealing the ACA would expose over 6 million Californians with pre-existing conditions to loss of coverage.

Will California’s vulnerable House Republicans like Kevin Kiley, John Duarte, David Valadao, Mike Garcia, Young Kim, Ken Calvert, and Michelle Steel denounce Trump’s efforts and protect this critical coverage?

DCCC Spokesperson Dan Gottlieb:
“Unfortunately, these vulnerable California Republicans always end up caving to Donald Trump’s demands – even if that means ripping away affordable, quality health care from 1.7 million people in California.”
