In the final weeks of the Nevada GOP primary, NRCC puts hopes in insurrectionist and failed state legislator Annie Black
With only a few short weeks before primary election day in Nevada, the GOP is contending with another intra-party scrap.
The National Republican Congressional Committee has bet everything on Republican State Assembly member Annie Black in NV-04, a positively embarrassing legislator who passed zero bills in the last legislative session. Despite her lackluster record and the fact that she was a proud participant in the events of January 6th, the NRCC selected her as one of their On the Radar candidates.
Regardless of her national support, Black is unsurprisingly falling short in her fundraising and in the polls to dangerous radical Sam Peters. Peters enjoys the support of the “far-right ranks of the Republican Party” like Paul Gosar and Wayne Allyn Root, as well as the Nevada GOP.
DCCC Spokesperson Johanna Warshaw:
“Across the country, the NRCC is stuck with a class of unelectable conspiracy theorists, election deniers, and ‘great replacement theory’ enthusiasts. No matter which candidate pulls through in NV-04, they will be forced to support another embarrassment that voters will handily reject in November.”
