After House and Senate Pass Bipartisan Honoring Our PACT Act, Nunn Still Won’t Say If He Supports Better Care for Iowa Veterans

This week, Rep. Cindy Axne and the House of Representatives passed the bipartisan Honoring Our PACT Act to ensure that veterans who have put their lives on the line for our country get the support they need when they come home.

But despite wide bipartisan support in both chambers of Congress, including support from Iowa’s entire Congressional delegation, Zach Nunn is still refusing to say if he’d support legislation to help millions of veterans suffering from the effects of toxic exposure get the care they need after serving our country.

“It’s time for Zach Nunn to come clean: does he stand with Iowa veterans getting the health care they deserve or his party bosses who oppose this bipartisan legislation?” said DCCC spokesperson Elena Kuhn. “Cindy Axne has worked across the aisle to deliver for Iowa veterans, but Nunn’s refusal to answer questions shows he’s just a typical career politician.”
