Today, coinciding with one year to the day since he lost the special election to Congressman Pat Ryan in the former New York 19th Congressional District, Marc Molinaro is bringing MAGA extremist Kevin McCarthy to Sullivan County.
After voting with McCarthy 92% of the time, it’s safe to say Molinaro is being rewarded for being a reliable vote for Republican leadership’s dangerous, out-of-touch agenda in Congress.
Only eight months into serving in Congress, Molinaro has followed McCarthy’s lead by voting to protect federally-indicted George Santos, abandoning campaign promises by passing abortion restrictions nationally for servicemembers and their families, and refusing to sign on to efforts to pass common-sense background check bills.
While Molinaro tries to pass as a moderate to Hudson Valley voters, he’s consistently propped up McCarthy’s extreme agenda in Washington.
