After casting a deciding vote to make cruel cuts to health care coverage for millions of Americans and take food off the tables of hungry children and seniors, Mariannette Miller-Meeks was caught dashing off to the Ritz-Carlton in Key Biscayne, Florida for a weekend reception with big donors and D.C. lobbyists.
Miller-Meeks has yet to meet with constituents after voting to gut Medicaid to fund trillions in tax cuts for the ultra-wealthy.
It seems Miller-Meeks is quickly following the NRCC’s advice to “stop holding in-person town halls amid a wave of angry backlash” over the GOP’s agenda.
When will she stop hiding?
DCCC Spokesperson Justin Chermol:
“House Republicans like Mariannette Miller-Meeks are refusing to meet with constituents after enacting the largest cut to Medicaid in American history. Miller-Meeks is either too scared or just doesn’t care.”
