After Weeks of Tripling Down on Brazenly Racist and Unhinged Behavior, Marc Molinaro Pivots to Lying Through His Teeth

After spending the last month spreading brazenly racist, debunked conspiracy theories, vulnerable New York Republican Marc Molinaro has now resorted to lying through his teeth by saying, “I made no such claims” in response to a constituent’s question about his derogatory comments at a candidate forum hosted yesterday.

The claims in question can still be found on his own social media, and in reporting by multiple publications.

In the past week alone, Molinaro has been hit with headline after headline exposing his “rightward pivot” that’s “baffling his allies as well as some institutional supporters,” culminating in the nonpartisan election forecaster Inside Elections joining every other major forecaster by moving New York’s 19th Congressional District in Josh Riley’s favor from “Tilt Republican” to a “Toss Up.”

Over the weekend, Molinaro brought far-right party boss Elise Stefanik to Upstate New York – further proving his loyalty to extremism.
