Donald Trump is headed to Arizona this Saturday for his “Save America Rally” – a chance for him to “elevate election deniers” and make his false claims of voter fraud “the centerpiece of the GOP platform.”
But as Trump descends on the Grand Canyon State, he has yet to pick a Republican candidate in the race for the new 6th Congressional District. Will he pick:

Juan Ciscomani, who served on the board of directors for Patriot Academy, an extreme right-wing “political training” organization, for more than a decade?

Or, recently-filed candidate Kelly Townsend, who is an outspoken supporter of Trump’s Big Lie and introduced legislation to invalidate mail-in ballots in Arizona?
Candidates who have dared go against Trump’s Big Lie have faced his wrath, as he works on “methodically driving out and destroying all Republicans who say President Biden legitimately won the 2020 election.”
That leaves Ciscomani and Townsend to duke it out over who can embrace the disgraced former president’s lies the most in hopes of getting in his good graces.
