All Across the Country, the GOP Health Care Crisis is Pricing Americans Out of Their Health Insurance

Because of Republicans’ assault on affordable health care, costs are going up, less people are getting covered

As open enrollment for most Affordable Care Act marketplaces closes today without the cost-saving tax credits being renewed because of Republican opposition, it’s leaving millions of “Americans with higher bills or less health insurance.

Take a look at what Americans are reading and the price shock they are facing as they struggle to shop for health care:

DCCC Spokesperson Viet Shelton:
“Hardworking Americans are struggling to keep up with skyrocketing health care costs – with some being forced to abandon health insurance altogether. Make no mistake, it’s because Republicans let it happen and the DCCC will make sure every vulnerable House Republican is held accountable in November.”

REMINDER: The DCCC has been holding House Republicans accountable all year for their broken promises to lower prices and their massive cuts to health care to pay for tax breaks for the wealthiest few. Less than one year out from the midterms, the DCCC has made the issue a defining contrast for the race for the majority, and will continue to do so through November 2026.
