| Recent reporting exposes vulnerable Republican Mike Lawler as a two-faced coward who privately mocked Donald Trump for years, only to drop the act and fall in line the second Trump returned to power.
According to Marjorie Taylor Greene, in the years before Trump won back the White House, Lawler “hated Donald Trump, made fun of him constantly, mimicked him, making fun of his voice.” Greene told Tucker Carlson that Lawler would “come and find me on the House floor and make fun of me for supporting Donald Trump.”
But since Trump returned to office, Lawler has sung his praises and voted to hurt his constituents in order to be in lockstep with him 100% of the time — rubberstamping his reckless agenda to raise costs, gut health care to give tax breaks to billionaires, and make life harder for Hudson Valley families. The same person who allegedly ‘hated’ Trump hasn’t found the courage to cast a single vote against him in Washington and is now his most reliable foot soldier.
