Senior Brownback advisor Amanda Adkins finally shared her plan for education at last night’s KS-03 debate, and it includes slashing funding for Kansas public schools – again.
Adkins’ willingness to get rid of the U.S. Department of Education – which provides hundreds of millions of dollars for Kansas public schools – could bring Brownback-style cuts back to the state, forcing larger class sizes, shorter school weeks, and teacher layoffs.

DCCC Spokesperson Johanna Warshaw
“If senior Brownback advisor Amanda Adkins had things her way, Kansans would be back to larger class sizes, shorter school weeks, and teachers getting laid off. Kansas children and families don’t want to go back to Brownback, and that’s why they will reject his top advisor in just 13 days.”
